Mimi Pickard has always loved pattern and design. So a few years ago she returned to her studies and set out to achieve a degree in Textiles and graduated in June 2016.

Her first collection of fabrics and wallpapers is called Lily, and was inspired by the avant-garde Bloomsbury Group. Mimi says, “I wanted my designs to emulate the natural and almost naïve feel the Bloomsbury decorative style created, as well as having a strong sense of colour and shape."

The Charlie collection is a continuation of the Bloomsbury theme, with added inspiration from the English countryside. It was developed using texture and collage, creating designs that compliment the Lily collection.

Mimi’s fabrics and wallpapers are screen printed by hand in England, creating a ‘hand made’ and painterly finish.
