JENNY’S POPPY

Jenny’s Poppy is an elegant representation of a Poppy in full bloom. The design bursts with life. Tall, generous blooms, flowing lines, patterns and textural details merge into a composition that feels both abundant and yet balanced. It was originally composed using a selection of previously carved blocks. Jenny rearranged and experimented with buds, blooms, leaves, and stems, allowing the pattern to evolve through movement, placement, colour, and layering. Jenny herself talks about this generosity and movement and a hopefulness that is produced by rhythm and repeat.
